Our office is in Roanoke Rapids, and most of our individual clients are right here in the area — Halifax, Northampton, and Warren counties. We also serve group clients across North Carolina, traveling in person when a business needs us on-site.

Common Questions About Working With a Local Health Insurance Agent

  • Is there a fee to work with GW Hux & Co.?

    No. There is never an added fee to clients for our services. Enrollment help, plan reviews, and ongoing support are all part of what we do.

  • What areas do you serve?

    Our office serves individuals and families primarily in Halifax, Northampton, and Warren counties. We also work with employer groups across North Carolina, including clients in Wilmington and the Hickory and Catawba area.

  • When is Medicare open enrollment?

    Medicare's Annual Enrollment Period runs October 15 through December 7 each year. That's the window to switch or add Medicare Advantage or Part D coverage. We recommend reaching out before October 15 so you have time to compare your options without rushing.

  • What if I need help outside of open enrollment?

    Call us. Plan problems, billing questions, life changes that affect your coverage — those don't follow a calendar, and neither do we.
